What is SGo?
The short version, before you get started.
SGo is a small tracking tag available to Sunny Storage tenants. Attach it to something you'd hate to lose, pair it with the app, and you'll get an alert if that item is ever seen away from your unit. It's a locating aid, not a security system or a live camera — this guide explains exactly what it does and doesn't do, so there are no surprises.
Buying Your Tag

Most tenants start with one tag on their highest-value item, then add more as needed — one tag per item, no limit on how many you can own.
Getting your tag
We keep SGo tags in stock at the Sunny Storage office, so there's never a wait. You can get yours one of two ways:
Either way, activation is entirely up to you — just scan the QR code on the back of the tag (Part 2 below) and the app does the rest. Our team doesn't need to be involved unless you'd like a hand.
Activating Your Tag
Three steps, about a minute total.
Link the tag in the app
Name it and you're set
Give the tag a name you'll recognize (e.g. "Box — Documents" or "Bicycle"), add a photo of the item, and check the details before you save.

How SGo Works
The honest version — including what it doesn't do.
The tag sends a low-energy signal
No SIM card, no data plan, no charging required.
Nearby phones pick it up — anonymously
The relay network is encrypted end-to-end. Nobody sees where your item is except you.
You see where it was last spotted
The app always shows a timestamp — "Seen 2 hours ago" — so you know exactly how fresh the information is.
You get an alert when something changes
You're notified if the tag is later seen somewhere away from your unit.
It's not a live video feed — no camera, no audio, no way to see inside your unit remotely. Inside a closed steel unit, the signal may go quiet for a while since it needs nearby phones to relay it; you'll see a "Seen X hours ago" timestamp, not a live position. The point is catching the moment things move, not monitoring a static location.
Battery
Long-lasting — up to two years — then a one-minute swap.
Open the back of the tag
No tools, nothing to unscrew.
Drop in a new CR2032
Plus side up. The tag wakes up on its own.
Close it back up
Back to a fresh cell — nothing to set up again.
Bring your tag by the office if you'd rather our team handle the battery swap for you.
